CARBON EMISSION & WATER SAVING

By reducing carbon emissions, we actively contribute to addressing climate change and protect the environment for future generations. Embracing alternative water sources like rainwater harvesting and wastewater recycling reduces reliance on freshwater and minimizes waste.

At Shinwon,
we have been tracking our carbon emissions since 2017 and aim to reduce 20,000 Mt. of carbon emissions by 2030 as a cumulative figure. Our continuous efforts in carbon emission reduction and water conservation have earned us the prestigious recognition of being a Giga Guru, a special supplier acknowledgment by Walmart. Together, through collective action and conscious choices, we can create a sustainable future that reduces carbon emissions, conserves water, and nurtures both the planet and its inhabitants.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Sustainable energy is essential for protecting our environment and creating a sustainable future. We have installed biomass boilers and solar panels in our factories as part of our sustainable energy solutions.

Shinwon is reducing its annual electricity consumption by approximately 67% in CA region through the implementation of solar power. Solar power generation has been deployed at factories in Guatemala, Indonesia, and Nicaragua, and we plan to expand these installations further to reduce carbon emissions.
